Now that all arguments are properly scoped, we do not need to worry about this
extending the lifetimes of COW times inappropriately.

When the new mangling is enabled permanently, the option can be removed from the RUN command lines again.

4444d83756 SIL: Lower captures to boxes with an appropriate generic context.
Officially kick SILBoxType over to be "nominal" in its layout, with generic layouts structurally parameterized only by formal types. Change SIL to lower a capture to a nongeneric box when possible, or a box capturing the enclosing generic context when necessary.

277608a69b Print and parse SILBoxTypes with a new syntax.
Use a syntax that declares the layout's generic parameters and fields,
followed by the generic arguments to apply to the layout:

  { var Int, let String } // A concrete box layout with a mutable Int
                          // and immutable String field
  <T, U> { var T, let U } <Int, String> // A generic box layout,
                                        // applied to Int and String
                                        // arguments

34ec32bc14 [semantic-arc] Handle the rest of the unqualified mem opts in SILGen.
Keep in mind that these are approximations that will not impact correctness
since in all cases I ensured that the SIL will be the same after the
OwnershipModelEliminator has run. The cases that I was unsure of I commented
with SEMANTIC ARC TODO. Once we have the verifier any confusion that may have
occurred here will be dealt with.

e1e7e19248 SIL: Construct alloc_box insns with the type of the box.
This becomes necessary with generalized boxes, since the box type isn't derivable from a single field type.

e2419b75fd [semantic-arc] Qualify most of the stores in SILGen as store [init].
All of these cases were trivially inits since they involved storing into
a newly created temporary allocation.

3f635d04c7 Reinstante var bindings in refutable patterns, except function parameters.

This commit leaves 'var' on function parameters as a warning to be

8110b1ebc8 [SIL] Let alloc_box return a single value.
And use project_box to get to the address value.
SILGen now generates a project_box for each alloc_box.
And IRGen re-uses the address value from the alloc_box if the operand of project_box is an alloc_box.
This lets the generated code be the same as before.

Other than that most changes of this (quite large) commit are straightforward.

6ff2f09796 [SIL] Let alloc_stack return a single value.
Having a separate address and container value returned from alloc_stack is not really needed in SIL.
Even if they differ we have both addresses available during IRGen, because a dealloc_stack is always dominated by the corresponding alloc_stack in the same function.

Although this commit quite large, most changes are trivial. The largest non-trivial change is in IRGenSIL.

This commit is a NFC regarding the generated code. Even the generated SIL is the same (except removed #0, #1 and @local_storage).

8f2fbdc93a Make function parameters and refutable patterns always immutable
All refutable patterns and function parameters marked with 'var'
is now an error.

- Using explicit 'let' keyword on function parameters causes a warning.
- Don't suggest making function parameters mutable
- Remove uses in the standard library
- Update tests

2368ce774b Remove self types from mangling by default.
And include some supplementary mangling changes:

- Give the first generic param (depth=0, index=0) a single character mangling. Even after removing the self type from method declaration types, 'Self' still shows up very frequently in protocol requirement signatures.
- Fix the mangling of generic parameter counts to elide the count when there's only one parameter at the starting depth of the mangling.

Together these carve another 154KB out of a debug standard library. There's some awkwardness in demangled strings that I'll clean up in subsequent commits; since decl types now only mangle the number of generic params at their own depth, it's context-dependent what depths those represent, which we get wrong now. Currying markers are also wrong, but since free function currying is going away, we can mangle the partial application thunks in different ways.

7e119d0d53 Optimize the mangling of associated types in generic signatures.
Canonical dependent member types are always based from a generic parameter, so we can use a more optimal mangling that assumes this. We can also introduce substitutions for AssociatedTypeDecls, and when a generic parameter in a signature is constrained by a single protocol, we can leave that protocol qualification out of the unsubstituted associated type mangling. These optimizations together shrink the standard library by 117KB, and bring the length of the longest Swift symbol in the stdlib down from 578 to 334 characters, shorter than the longest C++ symbol in the stdlib.

78491237e2 Sema: Base whether the base of a property lookup needs to be 'inout' on whether any of its accessors is mutating.
Instead of relying on the reference semantics of the base to make this decision, look at the getter and setter to see if either is mutating to decide whether the base of a property lookup should be inout. This should be the final fix for rdar://problem/21578832.

67b8b6f35c Sema: Base lvalue-ness of storage access on whether setter is mutating, not on kind of type.
More progress on rdar://problem/21578832. A property access off of a reference type may still require an lvalue base if it's a protocol extension implementation with a mutating setter. This gets us another step toward correct type-checking behavior, but the resulting AST still improperly loads the base reference, which leads to SILGen breakage.

3b04d1b013 tests: reorganize tests so that they actually use the target platform
Most tests were using %swift or similar substitutions, which did not
include the target triple and SDK.  The driver was defaulting to the
host OS.  Thus, we could not run the tests when the standard library was
not built for OS X.

7530f406fd Implement <rdar://problem/19290065> retains and releases of 'let' values aren't necessary
teach SILGenLValue that let values guarantee the lifetime of their value for at least
the duration of whatever expression references the let value.  This allows us to eliminate
retains/release pairs in a lot of cases, and provides more value for people to use let
instead of var.  This combines particularly well with +0 self arguments (currently just
protocol/archetype dispatches, but perhaps someday soon all method dispatches).

ee66391b54 Evaluate the LHS of an assignment before the RHS.
Many individual LValue evaluations still reflect
broken semantics: for example, the index expression
in a subscript l-value is delayed until the l-value
is actually projected.  But this is a necessary
step in the right direction.

e7f7033d31 SILGen: Fix up handling of 'self' parameter when opaque protocol requirements are accessed through class-constrained type.
"self" needs to be materialized in these cases. We were handling methods correctly, but not property accesses. Fixes rdar://problem/18454204.

c16c510167 Set SILLinkage according to visibility.
Now the SILLinkage for functions and global variables is according to the swift visibility (private, internal or public).

In addition, the fact whether a function or global variable is considered as fragile, is kept in a separate flag at SIL level.
Previously the linkage was used for this (e.g. no inlining of less visible functions to more visible functions). But it had no effect,
because everything was public anyway.

For now this isFragile-flag is set for public transparent functions and for everything if a module is compiled with -sil-serialize-all,
i.e. for the stdlib.

For details see <rdar://problem/18201785> Set SILLinkage correctly and better handling of fragile functions.

The benefits of this change are:
*) Enable to eliminate unused private and internal functions
*) It should be possible now to use private in the stdlib
*) The symbol linkage is as one would expect (previously almost all symbols were public).

More details:

Specializations from fragile functions (e.g. from the stdlib) now get linkonce_odr,default
linkage instead of linkonce_odr,hidden, i.e. they have public visibility.
The reason is: if such a function is called from another fragile function (in the same module),
then it has to be visible from a third module, in case the fragile caller is inlined but not
the specialized function.

I had to update lots of test files, because many CHECK-LABEL lines include the linkage, which has changed.

The -sil-serialize-all option is now handled at SILGen and not at the Serializer.
This means that test files in sil format which are compiled with -sil-serialize-all
must have the [fragile] attribute set for all functions and globals.

The -disable-access-control option doesn't help anymore if the accessed module is not compiled
with -sil-serialize-all, because the linker will complain about unresolved symbols.

A final note: I tried to consider all the implications of this change, but it's not a low-risk change.
