[ Upstream commit0891c7313d] __exfat_resolve_path() mixes two functions. The first one is to resolve and check if the path is valid. The second one is to output the cluster assigned to the directory. The second one is only needed when need to traverse the directory entries, and calling exfat_chain_set() so early causes p_dir to be passed as an argument multiple times, increasing the complexity of the code. This commit moves the call to exfat_chain_set() before traversing directory entries. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
