c46474191c Sema: Allow _diagnoseUnavailableCodeReached() to not exist in the stdlib.
Sometimes the compiler may need to build with an out-of-date standard library
and we can't assume recently added well-known declarations are present. When
synthesizing Hashable and Equatable conformances, if
`_diagnoseUnavailableCodeReached()` isn't present then just generate the body
of the case normally instead. This isn't ideal, but there isn't any existing
infrastructure to generate a call to `fatalError()` at the AST level and this
should be a rare edge case where we're simply falling back to the previous
behavior where unavailable cases weren't handled at all.

No tests because it isn't straight forward to compile with an intentionally
broken standard library that's missing some declarations.

6d22433d0f AST/SILGen: Use @_alwaysEmitIntoClient diagnostic helper in unavailable code.
The `_diagnoseUnavailableCodeReached()` function was introduced in the Swift
5.9 standard library and employs `@backDeployed` to support compilation of
binaries that target OS releases aligned with earlier Swift releases.
Unfortunately, though, this backdeployment strategy doesn't work well for some
unusual build environments. Specifically, in some configurations code may be
built with a compiler from a recent Swift toolchain and then linked against the
dylibs in an older toolchain. When linking against the older dylibs, the
`_diagnoseUnavailableCodeReached()` function does not exist but the
`@backDeployed` thunks emitted into the binary reference that function and
therefore linking fails.

The idea of building with one toolchain and then linking to the dylibs in a
different, older toolchain is extremely dubious. However, it exists and for now
we need to support it. This PR introduces an alternative
`_diagnoseUnavailableCodeReached()` function that is annotated with
`@_alwaysEmitIntoClient`. Calls to the AEIC variant are now emitted by the
compiler when the deployment target is before Swift 5.9.

Once these unusual build environments upgrade and start linking against a Swift
5.9 toolchain or later we can revert all of this.

5e7854f46b [AST] Remove static loc and spelling kind from AccessorDecl
The spelling kind was only ever set to
`StaticSpellingKind::None`, and the static location
was never used for anything (and should be queried
on the storage anyway). This doesn't affect the
computation of `isStatic` since `IsStaticRequest`
already takes the static-ness from the storage for
accessors.

5ad39c84e0 [Typed throws] Record thrown error types and conversions in the AST
For any operation that can throw an error, such as calls, property
accesses, and non-exhaustive do..catch statements, record the thrown
error type along with the conversion from that thrown error to the
error type expected in context, as appropriate. This will prevent
later stages from having to re-compute the conversion sequences.

ef642098f2 [Typed throws] Parsing and AST representation for typed errors
Parse typed throw specifiers as `throws(X)` in every place where there
are effects specified, and record the resulting thrown error type in
the AST except the type system. This includes:
* `FunctionTypeRepr`, for the parsed representation of types
* `AbstractFunctionDecl`, for various function-like declarations
* `ClosureExpr`, for closures
* `ArrowExpr`, for parsing of types within expression context

This also introduces some serialization logic for the thrown error
type of function-like declarations, along with an API to extract the
thrown interface type from one of those declarations, although right
now it will either be `Error` or empty.

d47a9c6ee9 Sema: Set type on pattern in synthesized enum equatable/hashable conformance.
Fixes a regression caused by https://github.com/apple/swift/pull/67636 in which
the patterns for case statements generated to match unavailable enum elements
were missing a type. The missing type caused a crash during SILGen if the
unavailable element case was the first one in the swtich statement.

e4810f5304 Sema: Fix unavailable enum element cases in derived hashable/equatable impls.
When deriving the `hash(into:)` and `==` witnesses for `Hashable`/`Equatable`
enums, call `_diagnoseUnavailableCodeReached()` in the case bodies for
unavailable enum elements. This is needed because the previously derived code
would operate on the values associated with unavailable enum elements, which is
illegal if the types of those associated values are also unavailable (these
case bodies would have failed typechecking had they been hand-written). The new
structure also more explicitly documents that reaching these cases is
unexpected, since unavailable enum elements should not be instantiated at run
time.

f3ff561c6f [NFC] add llvm namespace to Optional and None
This is phase-1 of switching from llvm::Optional to std::optional in the
next rebranch. llvm::Optional was removed from upstream LLVM, so we need
to migrate off rather soon. On Darwin, std::optional, and llvm::Optional
have the same layout, so we don't need to be as concerned about ABI
beyond the name mangling. `llvm::Optional` is only returned from one
function in
```
getStandardTypeSubst(StringRef TypeName,
                     bool allowConcurrencyManglings);
```
It's the return value, so it should not impact the mangling of the
function, and the layout is the same as `std::optional`, so it should be
mostly okay. This function doesn't appear to have users, and the ABI was
already broken 2 years ago for concurrency and no one seemed to notice
so this should be "okay".

I'm doing the migration incrementally so that folks working on main can
cherry-pick back to the release/5.9 branch. Once 5.9 is done and locked
away, then we can go through and finish the replacement. Since `None`
and `Optional` show up in contexts where they are not `llvm::None` and
`llvm::Optional`, I'm preparing the work now by going through and
removing the namespace unwrapping and making the `llvm` namespace
explicit. This should make it fairly mechanical to go through and
replace llvm::Optional with std::optional, and llvm::None with
std::nullopt. It's also a change that can be brought onto the
release/5.9 with minimal impact. This should be an NFC change.

186c53000d Introduce basic support for custom executors.
- Introduce an UnownedSerialExecutor type into the concurrency library.
- Create a SerialExecutor protocol which allows an executor type to
  change how it executes jobs.
- Add an unownedExecutor requirement to the Actor protocol.
- Change the ABI for ExecutorRef so that it stores a SerialExecutor
  witness table pointer in the implementation field. This effectively
  makes ExecutorRef an `unowned(unsafe) SerialExecutor`, except that
  default actors are represented without a witness table pointer (just
  a bit-pattern).
- Synthesize the unownedExecutor method for default actors (i.e. actors
  that don't provide an unownedExecutor property).
- Make synthesized unownedExecutor properties `final`, and give them
  a semantics attribute specifying that they're for default actors.
- Split `Builtin.buildSerialExecutorRef` into a few more precise
  builtins. We're not using the main-actor one yet, though.

931f3394d7 [Parse] Create SwitchStmt nodes for switch statements with errors
At the moment, if there is an error in the `switch` statement expression or if the `{` is missing, we return `nullptr` from `parseStmtSwitch`, but we consume tokens while trying to parse the `switch` statement. This causes the AST to not contain any nodes for the tokens that were consumed while trying to parse the `switch` statement.

While this doesn’t cause any issues during compilation (compiling fails anyway so not having the `switch` statement in the AST is not a problem) this causes issues when trying to complete inside an expression that was consumed while trying to parse the `switch` statement but doesn’t have a representation in the AST. The solver-based completion approach can’t find the expression that contains the completion token (because it’s not part of the AST) and thus return empty results.

To fix this, make sure we are always creating a `SwitchStmt` when consuming tokens for it.

Previously, one could always assume that a `SwitchStmt` had a valid `LBraceLoc` and `RBraceLoc`. This is no longer the case because of the recovery. In order to form the `SwitchStmt`’s `SourceRange`, I needed to add a `EndLoc` property to `SwitchStmt` that keeps track of the last token in the `SwitchStmt`. Theoretically we should be able to compute this location by traversing the right brace, case stmts, subject expression, … in reverse order until we find something that’s not missing. But if the `SubjectExpr` is an `ErrorExpr`, representing a missing expression, it might have a source range that points to one after the last token in the statement (this is due to the way the `ErrorExpr` is being constructed), therefore returning an invalid range. So overall I thought it was easier and safer to add another property.

47b0abfda4 Remove Actor.enqueue(partialTask:) and all its magic.
The backs out of some early decisions we made about actor layout
that we don't need. Custom actors will use a different approach.

This should suffice for the remainder of rdar://70146827.

8bc6143a4c [AutoDiff] Rename 'move(along:)' to 'move(by:)'.
Rename `move(along:)` to `move(by:)` based on the proposal feedback. The main argument for the change is that tangent vectors specify both a direction and a magnitude, whereas `along:` does not indicate that `self` is being moved by the specified magnitude.
